Getting start with Slack (SK Digital Service workspace)

You can access the workspace either through a web browser or the Slack application. 

※ When a partner company member participates in the SK Digital workspace, the purchasing department must receive the official delegation letter and manage the personnel accordingly. 


Join SK Digital Workspace Directly  

SK AX members (with @skcc.com email accounts) can join the Slack workspace directly. 

BP employees (using @partner.sk.com or @partner.skcc.com email accounts) and external users must request an invitation email using the steps below. 

  1. Open your web browser and go to https://skcc1.slack.com
  2. Click the "Create an account" link at the bottom of the screen to sign up directly.
  3. After registering, click the link in the email you receive to set your password and complete the signup process.

Request an Invitation Email 

If you are unable to sign up directly, please request an invitation through the Support Portal.

After you submit a ticket, the administrator will verify the request and send you an email containing a link to join the Slack workspace.

  1. Visit the Support Portal(https://support.skcc.com).
    1. If accessing via SK AX VDI, it will automatically redirect to your local browser. 
  2. After logging in, click “Create a new ticket”from the main page. 
    1. If you don’t have a Support Portal account, please refer to the Support Portal User Guide to sign up. 
  3. Choose the following options for the ticket: Service Level 1: Ops Modernization, Service Level 2: Cowork & Notification.
    Then, include the following details in the ticket.
    ※ If any of the details below are unclear or missing, your request may be delayed or rejected. Please fill in the information as specifically as possible. 

    • Name: (Full name in Korean)

    • Company Name

    • Department

    • Email Address: (Official company email only)

    • Channel(s) to Join: (Provide the name of the Slack channel(s) you need to join. If unknown, describe the purpose or topic of the channel.)

    • Reason for Joining: (Be detailed.)

    • Project Duration:

    • For Cost Transfer, Enter SK AX Team Name:

Join Using the Invitation Email 

The following steps are for users who received an invitation email after requesting one through either the direct join process or the Support Portal.
※ If you open the invitation email from Outlook inside VDI, the long URL may fail to redirect to the local internet browser. 

  1. Open the invite email via a mobile corporate email app and click the URL or button in the email to access the signup page.

  2. Fill in the required information to join the workspace.

  3. If you cannot access the site from your PC, submit a Site Access Exception Request through ServiceFLOW:

    • ServiceFLOW > Security > PC Site Access Exception Request

    • Site: skcc1.slack.com

  4. After approval, confirm that you can access https://skcc1.slack.com from your local PC.

  5. Use the following URL to log in to the workspace via PC:
    https://skcc1.slack.com

FAQ

  • The invitation link in my email has expired. 
    • Open a web or mobile browser and go to https://skcc1.slack.com
    • On the login screen, click “I forgot my password” at the bottom.
    • Reset your password to complete your signup. After resetting your password, your account will be activated. 
    • You can then join public channels directly.
      If you need access to a private channel, please request an invite from a Slack Admin or an existing channel member.
