Slack and SK C&C Digital Service workspace Introduction

Print

This guide applies only to the SK C&C Digital Service workspace.

Overview

Slack is a cloud-based messenger-type collaboration tool for smooth communication.

It overcomes the limitations of traditional email and messenger communication, enabling real-time communication among participants in urgent failure situations.

It also provides essential features for collaboration, such as search and selective notifications.

In the Cloud Z Cowork & Notification service, Slack is used as the standard collaboration tool.

Roles and Permissions

Roles in the Slack Workspace are classified as follows.

For more details, please refer to Slack’s Role-based Permissions.

Operation Policy

  • The purpose of Slack Channels is for quick sharing and collaboration in case of failures. For general inquiries, please use the Support Portal (https://support.skcc.com) or other communication channels.

  • Channel creation and settings, as well as user invitations to the Workspace, are handled by the SK Digital Operations Organization.

  • Each Channel is operated as Private by default, and in principle, only members of SK Inc. can participate directly, using @skcc.com email accounts.

    • If participation from external personnel (including BP employees) is required, please make a request through the Support Portal (https://support.skcc.com).

  • Invited users should voluntarily leave the Channel once their participation purpose is fulfilled or their job role has changed.

  • The #00_전체공지 Channel is automatically joined upon Workspace registration and is used to post announcements within the Workspace. Only Admins can post messages in this Channel.
