If you are requesting to create a new ORG, download the attached file at the bottom of the guide, modify it, and then 

attach the modified file as a ticket on the Support Portal to submit your request.

  • After requesting ORG creation, if necessary, the responsible person may request and confirm details related to estimates, discussions, and agreements on Datadog usage with the customer via email before
    proceeding with ORG creation.

1. ORG Naming Rules: <Customer Code>_<Major Category of Service/System/Project>(Optional)_<Subcategory of Service/System/Project> 
By default, specify up to the major category (two levels). If further classification is required, optionally add more after an underscore (_).

2. Structure Depth: A maximum of two levels can be configured if needed.

  • For a single-level structure, follow Rule 1 for naming (Zmon ORG can use the same name).

  • When configuring in 2 steps, configure the customer code as the 1st step (Parent ORG), and the 2nd step (Child ORG) can be distinguished using ORG names such as <CustomerCode><Service/System/Project Category>.
    • If two or more Child ORGs are configured under the Parent, then configure in 2 steps. Otherwise, configure in 1 step.

3. In 1-step configuration, billing and cost processing are done per ORG unit, and in 2-step depth configuration, the total of Child ORGs can be billed and processed in the Parent ORG. 

4. For the request date, enter the ORG creation request date, and for the completion date, enter the date the ORG should actually be created.  
    * The actual billing date starts after the ORG is created and monitoring data is collected. 

5. For project information, enter the project number to be billed, and for project manager, enter the project PM.

Enter the list of users corresponding to the admin role who will manage the ORG. 

  • The invitation email is valid for 24 hours. After 24 hours, you can go to Organization Settings > Users in Datadog and mouse over the pending account to resend the invite.

(blue star) MCMP Enterprise Account and Group Account Confirmation Required  

Billing and settlement of Datadog usage is done through MCMP. For this, it is necessary to confirm the enterprise account and group account in MCMP. Please enter the relevant information in the content of the ORG creation request ticket, or in the remarks column of the creation request Excel file. 


Please refer to the method for checking MCMP group information. 
1) Check MCMP account 
  • Check the MCMP account that has been managing the Cloud Z cost of the operational service (or customer site) so far. 
  • If there is no MCMP account, or if a new MCMP account is needed for Datadog cost inquiry, please refer to the following to create a new account. 
    • If you do not have an MCMP enterprise account, create one at https://mcmp.cloudz.co.kr/member/join 
    • Log in to MCMP using the enterprise account 
    • Go to Service Management > Cloud Z Service Manager at the top 
    • On the left, go to Group Management > Add Group (this is the group account to be linked with the Datadog ORG) 
  • Multiple group accounts can be created under one enterprise account, and each can be linked with a separate Datadog ORG.
    When checking costs in the enterprise account, you can view the total ORG costs; if you need to view each ORG cost, use the group account.

  • If you only received an already created MCMP group account, please click on the account and check the displayed company and group information as below. 
2) Please reply with the MCMP enterprise account and MCMP group information confirmed in step 1.
 The MCMP team will link the account with the Datadog ORG so that the usage information can be synchronized.

(red star) Support portal ORG creation request 

Submit a ticket https://support.skcc.com/

Be sure to use the Chrome browser. 

  • Access the Support Portal.

  • Click the New Ticket menu.

  • Select the ticket type*. 

  • In the Service Level1* field, enter "datadog" in the product name search field. After clicking the retrieved "datadog", the Service Level1, 2, and 3 fields will be automatically filled in. Alternatively, select them manually as below. 

    • Select Ops Modernization for the Service Level1* field. 

    • Select Hybrid Monitoring for the Service Level2* field. 

    • Select Datadog for the Service Level3* field. 

  • Project/System Name: Enter [Requested ORG Name] ORG Creation Request 

  • Fill in the Title* and Description* fields. 

  • File Attachment: Download the above ORG creation template file, modify it, and attach it. 

  • Click the Submit button.
